The New Program
- Meditation Audiobook and zenhabits -> focus is on Mindfulness and the process of creating new habits -> This will change your overall approach and is the most powerful
- Thai Chi - Chi Gong -> learn it, it is a powerful way to deepen your mindfulness and helps regulate your psychological imbalances using your body awareness
- Transition to a new diet (write down a plan on how you are going to do it, plan ahead by creating yourself a meal plan for now and for the future. Use 1. to gain more insight, educate yourself on how to best loose weight by adopting a new lifestyle in diet
- Work on your domestic skills, talk to AI about it and have it teach you. Ask the right questions
- Do the same as 4. with financial management and focus on the psychological aspect of finances
- Look at zenhabits, take notes and study it, not just read.
- Learn something new (i.e. non violent communication) and see if it is something you could see yourself helping people with in the future by teaching it.
- Document what you do, maybe make a video log of your daily experience (you don’ have to share it with me, just collect it. Make sure you have at least 2 backups in different locations. Don’t publish anything.)
- Exercise for weight loss
- Find out what resourcefulness is all about and why it is so critical and cool for everything you do
- Meditate whenever you can so that you quickly get to the stage when it becomes a joyful experience that you want to do more of.
When you have a choice of things to do (e.g. what I want to do and what I should do), always favour any of the above choices (i.e. the “shoulds”) over other options. Ask yourself: “What can I do for myself that will benefit me now and in the future?” Sometimes that answer will be: “build a pull up bar station in the backyard” or sometimes it will be “Help mum with household stuff.”
When you have no energy to do any of the above, rest, don’t waste more energy by watching something. Entertainment and things you want to do should be used sparingly and as a special reward to yourself.
